The gate will be unlocked during that time (please make sure you close it after you drive through).

Food / Lunch: There will be water at the start finish. There will be an aid station for ultra runners and relay runners near the start/finish. We will have normal “healthy” ultra food (cookies, PB&J, chips, potatoes, and bacon) and we will have water and bananas at the finish line for the 5K. Free Coffee will be served for all runners and volunteers (you can buy specialty drinks as well). Cinnabon is bringing enough food in the morning to feed an army too! Our awesome and amazing sponsor Martins BBQ will provide lunch around 11:45am! There will be some other special treats at the end of the race as well (Kona Ice!).
Rules / Course /Mud / Trash: 10x5K starts at 7:00am. All 10x5K runners (solo and relay) have one hour to complete each 5K course. You will hear an air horn five minutes before each hour and then one minute before the start of the next 5K. Relay teams will use ONE BIB and must be worn by the person running the course each hour (a bib belt might be useful). Relay teams make up their own order for runners. 5K event starts at 2:00pm. The one hour time limit does NOT pertain to runners/walkers in the single 5K event only (unless you are running in the relay event as well). 10x5K runners will go to the left when they finish and 5K runners/walkers will go to the right when they finish (there will be big signs). Pacers are welcome for solo 10x5K runners, however not during the 2:00pm 5K race (they must sign a waiver at the race). Bandit runners will be banned from all future races and Noah will post their name and picture all over Facebook telling everyone how crappy they are (seriously).
Dogs are welcome in the park, but NOT on the trail. Sorry, but our USATF insurance is not cool with dogs on the trail with other runners.
This is a trail run. There will be mud, roots, and water. Be prepared for race conditions to get worse if it rains and as the trail is used over and over and over and over again. Please note that this trail is not suitable for strollers and our insurance does not allow dogs on the race course (strollers and dogs are welcome at the park though).
Please try to take as much of your trash with you when you leave and never leave trash on the trails.
This is a cup less event. Bring a water bottle to fill up.
Awards: 5K Awards will start around 3:45pm (don’t leave – you really might win an award!). Awards will be presented to overall 1-3 m/f as well as age group awards (m/f - 6 and under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-14, 15-19, and 5 year age groups from there). 50K solo runners are eligible for these awards as well (I know, that's so cool!).
10x5K Awards will start around 5:15pm. Awards will be presented to top 1-3 two person and five person relay teams and solo 1-5 m/f . The awards are very cool!
Cancellation and Refund Policy (and other stuff): This event will happen rain or shine (we always run in the rain). We can not issue refunds or defer registration under any circumstance (just know it is going to a great cause).
In the event county or state authorities force us to cancel the event for any reason we will still give out all race packets to registered runners, but we can not issue refunds or defer registration under any circumstance (just know it is going to a great cause - yes, I copied that from above).
This is a trail run so you should expect some mud if it rains before or during the race (you should expect a lot of mud if it rains a lot).
5K event starts at 10:00am
Rules for the 10x5K: 10x5K starts at 7:00am Solo runners and relay runners must complete the 5K loop in one hour or less. Relay teams will share one bib (you can run in any order, but the team must run all ten 5K races - so you can't just run the first 5 together - ask us if you don't understand). You will hear a 5 minute warning before the end of each hour. You must be lined up and ready to run at the start of each 5K.
Thank you all for being part of our boy’s race. Peyton camped and fished here as a Cub Scout and he ran here with the Mount Pleasant Track Club. I hope you all feel him as much as we do when we are running the Laurel Hill Trail.
